What you need to enable the TiVo Whole Home experience

In order to stream content between two or more TiVo devices, your TiVo Premiere DVR needs to be connected to the Internet using either a wired Ethernet or MoCA (Ethernet over coax) connection.

Option 1: Wired Ethernet

Wired Ethernet is ideal for streaming your recorded shows from your TiVo Premiere series DVR to another networked Premiere series DVR or to your iOS device using TiVo Stream. Just plug the included Ethernet cable into the back of any TiVo Premiere series DVR.

What is MoCA?

Option 2: MoCA connection

If wired Ethernet is not available in your home, then MoCA is the best option for streaming content between two or more TiVo devices. Learn more
